Triple Safety Course
Well control:
Well control courses are among the most important training courses in the world’s oil industry. These courses, which are known all over the world with the IWCF certificate, have unfortunately not been able to be held inside the country in recent years due to the sanctions of our country.
Parsian Energy Technology and Knowledge Company, in cooperation with Ahvaz Oil Industry College, which is one of the approved centers of the Central Education Department of the National Iranian Oil Company, started organizing these courses from September 2018.
Objectives of triple safety courses:
- Getting to know the principles of first aid and how to do it correctly
- Acquaintance with the set of general fire safety regulations
- Getting to know the dangers of H2S and ways to deal with it

Level 1 : This level is about the basics of the well control process.
People are trained to be aware of the processes and familiar with the vocabulary of the well life cycle in
order to have sufficient knowledge to fulfill their work duties.
Level 2 : At this training level, sufficient knowledge and awareness is taught to investigate, observe and
find signs of events and report under the guidance and control of superiors.
Level 3 : This training level is designed for the people active in the drilling and well site who are
responsible for closing the well during the drilling operations and during the eruption of the wells.
After this period, people can recognize anomalies and unusual events and take basic measures during
the well eruption.
Level 4: A supplementary level has been developed for level 3, and people after this course have the
ability to perform continuous controls to ensure the smooth operation of the well, to be aware of
unexpected conditions, the ability to analyze the conditions and control and restore the conditions to
normal.
Level 5 : After completing this training course, people have the ability to design and plan safe well
activities, identify specific well conditions and assign
